No baseball last night in the downpour. Owen was well-rested and pumped up, too. So we have to play tonight instead. And this was my night OFF, people!
And if you think I'm crabby now, just wait until tomorrow after I sit there with frizzy hair, swoobs and a sunburn at high noon with 100% humidity on a 95 degree day. And we have a DOUBLEHEADER. Seriously. I love my kids but this is ridiculous. Maybe I'll have to put some sort of adult cocktail in a squeezy bottle like back in my college days.
Happy Friday!

I think it's a great idea to smuggle an adult beverage in a sippy cup.
Speaking of smuggling stuff in a sippy cup, I smuggled vodka in my kids sippy cup into the Taste of Chicago gated off area for a concert.
Never actually drank it... but I did it nonetheless.
:)
What about that nice photo with the four of you and your "Cokes" sitting in the square like you were having a nice picnic - on the cover of the Ball State promotional booklet for incoming freshmen!!
Oh MOM! That's a funny story!
Here's what happened everyone. My girlfriend Lisa Scheurle(who I no longer am in touch with :( tear, tear) always wanted to have a cocktail in the quad. It was one of her 'things' she wanted to do while at BSU. So... close to our graduation she gathered up four of us and we filled sports sippers with beer (24oz each) and headed to the quad with our blanket.
Later an advertisement catalog for BSU surfaced. I don't remember where it came from... maybe Mom got it at school or they mailed it to me or one of my siblings... I really don't remember.
Well, the back cover had a picture of me and my three buddies sitting around having a (what would seem to be) harmless visit in the quad.
Little did any BSU official know that we were drink beer in the quad! OMG... I was laughing so hard. It was, in fact, the only day I ever sat on a blanket in the quad. And someone photographed it!
Too funny... one for the story books.
I don't think I remembered that. Hilarious.
